eax02
The eax02 is the second race car in the Ecurie family which combines the two racing classes of electric and driverless and can therefore be driven both by a driver and autonomously around the track. Based on the developments and experiences of the previous season, optimizations have been developed with regard to weight and performance.
In addition to optimizing key components, the focus in the 2022/23 season was on early completion of the vehicle and a lot of testing time. The knowledge gained from the previous season helped us to target the weak points and develop efficient solutions.

The CFRP sandwich monocoque is geometrically identical to its predecessor, with the exception of the newly developed front-vehicle with integrated crash structure and nose. A better structural design and optimized inserts reduce weight while maintaining good torsional stiffness. The integration of autonomous sensors and computing unit in our unique hood and rear cover optimizes aerodynamics.
